Hi, I'm Analiese - A Neurodivergent Therapist For Neurodivergent People.

I am an MA-qualified, HCPC-registered Dramatherapist and founder of ARC Dramatherapy, with over 10 years of experience working alongside neurodivergent individuals as both a Primary Teacher and a Dramatherapist. I specialise in ADHD, Autism and AuDHD, and my practice is grounded in neuro-affirming, person-centred approaches. At ARC Dramatherapy, the aim is to ensure your neurodivergent needs are not only understood and accommodated but genuinely valued and celebrated.

My path into Dramatherapy began with a love of acting and expressing myself through different characters, paired with a deep commitment to advocate for the acceptance and understanding of neurodivergence and the realisation that neurodiverse research was largely focused on boys. After leaving teaching, I realised I wanted to create safe, creative spaces specifically for girls, women and AFAB individuals to explore and embrace their neurodivergence. I'm passionate about offering a therapeutic environment free from judgment, fear, or the pressure to explain how your neurodivergent brain works.

Diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 6, and now exploring the possibility that I may also be Autistic, I have firsthand experience of navigating a world that often misunderstands and lets down neurodivergent female brains. I also know how exhausting it can be to constantly translate or justify the beautifully complex, sometimes contradictory ways your brain works.

At ARC Dramatherapy, you don't have to mask, minimise, or over-explain. You get to show up as your full authentic self, and together we'll explore what healing, expression, and self-understanding can look like for you.

Our Approach

At ARC Dramatherapy, we take a client-led, neuro-affirming approach, which means you choose how you want to communicate, decide the level of structure you need, and set the pace. Your sensory needs, energy levels, and communication preferences shape how we work together. This approach honours the fluctuating rhythms of ADHD, Autistic, and AuDHD brains, and provides a warm, validating, and collaborative space where your neurodivergence is understood, celebrated, and integrated into the therapeutic process.
